Pro/casual clan sites?

(etwolfmod) #1

Hi, I’d like to know if there’s already clans getting ready to play Brink in tournaments and the like, and if they’re putting Brink community sites which ones are they? I’d like to start getting to know the community around this game before here in the weeks preceeding its release, this game being a community/clan driven FPS game.

Unless I’m missing something those are fansites not clan sites.

(Crytiqal) #4

Actually, that thread is more targeted at fansites and brink forums.
I think the OP is looking for clans that will join up for BRINK to play against?

(.TehTank.) #5

there have been clans around for about a year now.

I’m going to wait until the game’s out, and MAYBE join a casual clan at some point. Maybe. Depends if I end up being any good at it.

just try joining a casual one with people who want to be better ‘with time’! getting better at games is not a game, you’re playing against people who want the same thing as you. at that point it’s muscle against muscle and that’s the fun part of competition. but you have to let go of ‘wanting to be the best’ and ‘wanting to win’… only in the sense that you accept defeat and learn from it. you play and lose for a week straight, you’ll hop in a pub and rape and say this is boring,… damn those stupid one hit kill weapons. you play against the best teams and loss for a week? you’ll rape the casual clans and say ‘now that practice is worth it’. you gotta realise, there are no casual competitions,… except for twl ladders… roflmao

I want a clan that’s more about having fun than about winning.

I play Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood online, and I’m in a casual clan for that. If I go for a clan in Brink, I’ll aim for one with a similar attitude.

i’m looking to join a similar group in NZ or Aus

I’m on PS3, and I’m in NZ.

(crazyfoolish) #11

Ok. i’ll be playing PC. Do you live in Auckland?

(obliviondoll) #12

I am, actually.

But my PC doesn’t have a good enough graphics card for MINECRAFT.

Pretty sure Brink is out of the question… PS3 Win!

RAD site Cru. You and Bart Taylor still hangin out?
Hell Track anyone?

(RAAAAAAAAAAGE) #15

I’ve always been afraid of signing up for clans cause I usually suck at FPS games. I never usually get many Kills. But brink might give me the confidence to do so, cause i dont need to be good at killing. I can stick with the good players and help them stay alive on the field as a medic. Give them ammo as a soldier. Buff their weapon i can do so much to help out the good players and i wont feel terrible for dying all the time.

Any ‘casualish’ PC gamers in Oceania?

thanks man, glad you like the site. I had Duke Best make it for me. My little sister Wesley helped out a bit too… hahahah

Ya know, when i made this name, i thought more people were gonna get it. I guess not as many people loved BMX movies in the 80’s… haha

LHG (League of Honorable Gamers) might be what you’re looking for. Casual Xbox clan without massive requirements and no quotas. They are set up for Brink, COD: Black Ops, Halo: Reach and the Battlefield franchise. I would have been in their clan if my timezone wasn’t so far separated from theirs. (I’m an Aussie gamer and they are mostly based in Canada)

Which brings me to my shout: Any AU/NZ Xbox clans setting up for Brink that don’t require massive hours of gameplay? I could probably jump on a few times a week. Otherwise, are their any AU/NZ Xbox gamers that would be interested in starting a casual clan?
