Private Servers

It’s ridiculous that there is no way to create private matches. If you guys are focused on making this game competitive, how come the infrastructure isn’t already set in place to create private matches. How do you expect tournaments to be good when teams can’t even practice. Right now we have to queue up in competitive matchmaking. But once the game gets more population, we won’t be able to do this. I know admins have the ability, but why not make it public to everyone? I hope this isn’t because Nexon wants to cash in on this. I’ve seen it in other games, so it wouldn’t surprise me. But while we’re on the topic, here are suggestions for private matches.

-Friendly Fire
-Disable Team Balance
-No Cool downs (for practicing grenade spots, etc)
-Head shots Only
-Ability to ban classes or weapons
-No Perk Mode
-Ability to select certain weapons at start for mercenary, rather than load out cards.
-Ability to set max players and max spectators.
-Ability to select location of server
-Ability to limit amount of mercenaries per player (Right now it’s 3)
-Ability to limit class per team

These are just a few off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s a lot more. But it would be a shame if we didn’t have these options when you guys do release private matches.

to be fair it is a closed beta and im pretty sure they’ve all but confirmed you can make a private server at some point.

But there’s no point in private servers if you can’t edit the servers.

Also, it’s important the infrastructure be there from the start.

Edit? As in mod? How can you possibly draw that conclusion? So now that there’s no SDK, it’s better to not have private servers at all? I don’t get your logic.

Can you be a little more patient? SD certainly has more experience developing and publishing games than you do, so if they do things that way, there’s probably a reason for it. How about asking before jumping to conclusions?

The possibility to create private games with as much options as possible is definitely a good idea. Pretty sure it’s planned for sooner or later though.
