I will just have a big fun(and get easier xp/credits) because of Russians mostly

now(yes,mostly but not all) for a reason of rage(Crossfire,CS:GO,ET on russian servers and

MMO games which are released in Russia before getting to the EU and NA),specified overuse (The words are on someordinaryguy’s post) and less teamwork from their side(again,MOSTLY).

I’m fully against racism and all, but… some of these pictures are kinda funny… and there isn’t really any direct hate as far as I can tell.

But if it does get closed, I can just google Putin memes.

Well,one of the pictures is a reference to suggestions about auto shotgun merc(engineer one) with … BEAR TRAP.

@extravagentBypass I have no problem with the memes, I’m sure even russians would find them funny - they are a joke. It’s the purpose of the thread, which I have a problem with. Only reason it was made was to speak badly of Russians… and for what reason? :s Need it shut down ASAP, honestly. :confused:

As a citizen of a country that had many major conflicts with Russia, I find this thread more tongue in cheek than serious.

The “russians will ruin DB” comments are bit premature though.

Well, due to past experiences with online gaming and russians, it’s a plain fact that the cheater problem WILL more likely get worse. It’s not a nice thing to say, but denying that is just being naive.

There’s bad apples in every demographic; don’t be so quick to say things are going to get incredibly bad. It’s true a new influx of players will make the environment slightly weird (and hostile, though there’s not much difference between the blyaaaaat kids and the English speaking *********** kids), but it will probably return to what it used to be with a little bit of Katyusha in the mix.

Black sheeps are everywhere, there is no country where all people are incredible friendly and nobody is cheating.
And obviously if that country is extremely big, there will be changes.

Let’s see it on the bright side.
There are nice russian people too, and more players for DB! :slight_smile:

In my pro-gaming experience, I never really had problems with russian players. In the past it was usually polish guys that were famous for cheating :).

But well, bad people are everywhere and I doubt that there is like more of them in Russia compared to other countries.

This thread is nonsense and should get closed asap :wink:

More players, more cheaters, that’s rather logical.

Don’t forget that Russia is a MASSIVE potential player base that Dirty Bomb could not reach for commercial reasons until then (AFAIK, another publisher had the rights in Russia + some other countries). And this player base is in my opinion is absolutely needed if you want your game to succeed, not only because of the numbers, but also because they’re strong comp scene supporters. So no matter the stereotypes, they might greatly help this game to live.

I grew up reading classic Russian literature. It’s brilliant. Way better than video games and a lot more useful for the mind.

Russians are fine, no worse with rage and trashtalk than americans, its just in another language. Which apparently means they are all guilty. People hate russians in dota because people are dumb and will blame anything they can. Never mind that the russians are better at it, quite often.

Mostly because,if someone want to talk with them in Dota then it goes for:
Insulting for being american(even those who are in Asia).
He is feeding but he says that you are feeding(more like,i have done less and have more deaths but you have done more and have less deaths and you are feeder :I)

What about all the russians who dont talk, and dont put cyrillic letters in their name? Not to mention all the people you will think are russian based on accent but who are not even russian.

And the russians who can speak english, can you speak Russian? They are already doing more to break the barriers than you. And after thousands of threads like this you expect them to be patient with you.

Honestly my point is just that picking on one nation is not in good taste. This is the funny start to a joke that will turn sour later. Its better left alone.
