Examiner is reporting that KMart will be offering a $20 gift card on Brink on release week. For those who don’t want to preorder that seems like a good option. It will be interesting to see if anyone matches it.

They’ve done similar before, but I don’t think any retailers view KMart as a threat. It’s more like a secret for frugal gamers.
Still, if you have a Kmart local you could take their sale into Walmart and probably make them match the deal at least. 
I was just going to pre-order through steam but now I see the packs are so different I’m not sure which to choose. Can you wear the mask with a hat?

Boo. That sucks. They charge tax in some US states ($3 for me in NY), so it came to $40.46 US for me with the code.
Do you normally have any regional restrictions with Steam?
I ask because Brink is a Steamworks game, which basically means that D2D is selling you a code to register on your Steam account. Is it possible that a the codes themselves would be regional so you would have trouble registering a “US code” on your “Non-US Steam account”?
