Because there isn’t a thread about preloading in the top.
Anyway, I’m still freaked out why Brink isn’t even featured on the Steam. It’s certanly doing good in most selling games.
Can’t Bethesda do anything about it, it’s clear that something is wrong. Hydrophobia is coming out the same time and it was featured more than a week ago.
I’ve heard some publishers say how Valve running steam can be a problematic, but I really don’t imagine them seeing Brink as some sort of a huge competition…

hey that’s awesome for you PC guys. It’s too bad general Game Stops and such work their midnight special releases and so forth based on pre-order sales. I was pretty stoked to get it monday night but my distributor isn’t having one :confused:

Thats awesome! But, I preordered @ amazon. Want to have Case + DVD :slight_smile:
I hope its not like in Homefront where the half game was missing on the DVD… it was “the first patch”…

enter steam://preload/22350/ into your browser to download it anyway then add your key later.

Looks like that only works if you preordered the game via steam / already added a key.

Yep, seems like that doesn’t works.
Steam just freezes for a few secs and nothing happens then. But thanks anyway!
And, a friend of mine bought it @ steam. So I can already load it with his account :slight_smile:

It won’t seem to preload for me. It freezes up every time I try to start it. Any ideas on how to fix that?

btw people have bought the game through Direct 2 Drive can now preload as well. Just head on over to the site and download away.
