Preferences aside, what loadout do you think best suits each merc?

Just a quick explanation of what I mean: I’m not asking what your favorite loadout is, I’m asking what loadout has the combination of weapons and augments that generally seem to fit a certain merc better than other loadouts do. You don’t have to like the card you pick, but if you have reason to think that a loadout for that merc should have this this or that to be a true loadout for that merc? That’s what I want you to tell me.

I’ll go first to show you what I’m asking for.

Fletcher - A31 Guardian Close Assault

Fletcher is tough. Lock-On plays to Fletcher’s ability. This card has Flecther’s default weapons.

This is Fletcher’s card.

Fragger - M62 Power Rifleman

The combination of Unshakeable and Explodydendron kind of just screams everything to do with Fragger. I have no idea why they didn’t give this arrangement of augments to a K121 class. They’re the most Fragger-y augments, why aren’t they paired with Fragger’s gun??

Skyhammer - B61 Collaborative Rifleman

clears throat LOTS O’ LOVELY AMMO, RIGHT HEEAAHR

Nah, Fletcher’s best card is BL33. Blish more reliable than the Anhuld, and Quick Draw is, IMO, better than Lock On.

I got a Dickens card for that loadout so I thought I would try it out.

Long story short I am entirely too dependant on Lock-On to make Quick Draw work. :l

We get to see mercs in their default attire, and guns in their default colour scheme, what else would you want?

Because it’d be broken as shit to fight a Fragger who can’t be killed by a single Frag nade when using one of the best guns in the game. It’s why the M4 had Unshake/Explody and K-121 got Drilled/Explody.

Augments. Lot’s of augments.

It depends on the map. I have preferred loadouts for nearly every merc depending on the map. Some maps I prefer the burst fire/longer distance, other maps I prefer full autos etc. I don’t think I have one favourite loadout for any merc.

There are no Explodydendron loadouts with the K-121.

It is not possible to put preferences aside, as us answering obviously have an opinion. Some people like shotguns some don’t, some like semi-auto, some like bolt action, some like fully automatic weapons. That is personal preference on what we think is the best.

Yeah, whoops, was half asleep and I realised that when I came back to this thread today. Meant to say that giving Fragger the best gun and the best augments would have been a dumb move either way.
