Pre-Release Opinions: 'Agents of Change' DLC

Right, for anyone who doesn’t know yet, ‘Agents of Change’ is the title of the upcoming free June DLC. The content looks great to me, and I just want to know what everyone thinks, basically. Here are the details from Destructoid.

[I]Bethesda has published details concerning Brink’s first batch of downloadable content. We knew the first DLC would be free, so some people expected a few crappy costumes. Prepare to be surprised!

The Agents of Change pack features new maps, equipment, abilities and costumes, all for nothing. Here’s what’s on offer:
•New Maps: Founder’s Tower and Labs.
•New Weapons Attachments: Bayonets and Weapon Shields.
•New Outfits: The Sad Punk and The Limey.
•New Abilities: UAV for Operatives, Napalm Grenade for Soldiers, Pyro Mine for Engineers, Field Regen Unit for Medics, Tactical Scanner for any class.
•New Level Cap: Players can now take their characters to Level 24.[/I]

So, what does everyone think about that? Personally, I’m pretty stoked. Some awesome stuff and my wallet gets no lighter!
P.S. about the new outfit, ‘The Limey’, for anyone who doesn’t know, a limey is a British nickname for a sailor.

I am quite happy that there is a DLC for free and with such good things in it ^^
New maps are allways welcome and the new weapon attachments are sounding interesting .
I´m excited bout the new abilities . Those Napalm Grenades sound way too interesting to ignore :smiley:
All in all i´m really looking forward for it ^^

To be honest, I think this DLC unless followed up by more content and faster will be a little too late.

Otherwise the DLC is pretty neat. We’ll see if it is better implemented than the rest of the game .

No, it is a nickname for the British.

Cant wait for the DLC, cant come soon enough to boost the maps.

And Limey is a sailor, they called the sailors that because they ate limes to prevent scurvy… but it became a slag term to call all Brits that by Aussies.

I know it’s for the British now, but when it was originally created, it was a slang term for sailors.

No, he said it is something the British call their sailors, when it is in fact a nickmane for British people. And if you want to get into the etymology of it, my googlefu says that it was what Americans called British sailors - again not something the British called their sailors, so he was still wrong. Not that using pre-20th century lingo could have been viewed as right.

glad it’s coming out it gives the game some life and I’ll definitely sign back on and give the game some love again.
