Pre made's a pub stomping

is there any chance of splitting the matchmaking into a pre made que and a pug que?

Aimbotters might wreck the odd game but pub stompers ruin tons more of mine.

i miss the old q2 days , not just because i was 20 years younger and still had ability ,reflexes and the fine motor control to be good at this game  but we had some respect to! when my clan hit the servers i insisted we even the teams. i thought then and still do its a bit rude to ruin the game for other guys. In a team game like this a 3-5 man team thats usually 10-20 levels higher (last 4 man squad were all 30+) picking class’s to compliment and working as a team (voice coms experience etc) are just unstoppable. i just dont get how it can even be fun for them , easy wins must loose the appeal fast.

or could we at least

a. ban the top 4 people from swapping sides straight back after a between game shuffle? even non premades are abusing this ive noticed a lot of time the top 2-3 from the previous game jumping back to be on the same side.

b. At least give Premades a coloured background on their names on the scoreboad so we know .

Afaik you can’t join as a group on non-comp servers. And if better people play together atm, it’s just the sideeffect of beeing fed up after having to play with ppl not having a clue what they are doing the rest of the time.
So sorry, but as we’re told, “they are working on it”.

ugh thats bad news so they are just joining the same server and swapping teams when they can , so its going to get a lot worse when they can que. so i guess my request becomes when they do add it please for the love of a decent game dont throw em into the pugs like far too many other games do.

Yep, and it simply helps you to have mates knowing what to do, instead of medics not-reviving, fop’s not giving ammo even after kniving them endlessly, etc, etc. The usual players these times…

@elegantRoyalty Well they can’t actually even the teams in a matchmaking game, the game just doesn’t let you switch teams after a match is found. Plus if you were playing while the game was still in closed beta you would know that matchmaking was almost exclusively played by organized teams. In fact, teams would search at the same time to get scrims going because there weren’t any private servers.

The only way to work around this is to have a better matchmaking algorithm that is better at assessing player skill and taking into account the effects of playing in an organized group vs soloqueueing.

And yes it is boring to stomp all over a team with your friends but we don’t play MM to do that we play MM to get matched up against other good players that are also on an organized team. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen, though.

This is totally false, I’ve been in several games with an entire opposing team with matching clan tags (not official clan tags, just profile names edited with the same first word or phrase).
