I think compared to the others FPS, this is a bit different and it have a lot of potential, but they need to improve a lot of things, there’s a list:
1st - Anti cheat system: Lately there are a lot of cheaters playing this game, idk if this “nexon” was the same of warrock (was one of the best fps), but if so, and if the game code was the same, this game is simply ruined !
-2nd - The Matchmaking, just make me laugh, how is possible to regroup lvl 6 vs lvl 20, 40, 50? This game is really unbalanced. They must do an MM due the lvl of the players. Max. lvl 5 and min lvl. 10 ??? Its ridiculous!
-3rd- They need to do (like it is usually in all of the games) an option to create a room, to play with friends, can be limited, sometimes I want to play with my bro, and we need to try a lot of times till we stay at the same team. They must allow us to make teams, like in APB for example, or League of legends, or CS:GO, I can’t understand why they don’t allow it !
-4th - Again, hackers… hackers can simply ruin a good game like warrock, and if they don’t care about it, it will be a waste of time and money to play this game.
Generally I like to spend a lot of money in a good games, but this one seems so… well… its fun… its beta… but…
the anti-shit is getting improved and you certenly didnt see when there wasnt an anti cheat system
they are max lvl 5 so new players learn the game between them there is open servers cause sometime min lvl 20 or even max 5 servers are full or no one is playing on them so high players or low players can play without waiting too much
this is certenly gonna happen when the CMM would finnaly come out or now you have the ranked matchs (even if no one really play it )
i didnt play a lot lately but since a year playing i didnt see a lot of cheaters maybe 10 or less and two of them were low lvl so i guess the anti cheat system is working and some hackers are creating new account to keep killing the game for others player
About hackers, i have played almost 1000h, i thought i have seen only a hand full of “legit” hackers. I think the anti cheat is working fine. Note: low lvl called me out sometimes too, hackusation is a thing.
You must be new here or new to the game because there have been several posts about this already. So whats ur point? Casual MM, they are working on it, dont give them shit cuz its hard to make it happen. Anti - Cheat? Not so bad lately. Your posts is basically repeating what every other posts says. We get it. And hopefully they listen so chill. You cant give them a sudden lists to make everything happen and blame them. Hold ur horses and go play the game

1.there really that many cheaters, cheaters are in every game, and from what i know the anti cheat is ok
2.they are collecting data, not releasing it, last time they were testing system (is everyone getting into game and such)
3.guess what casual matchmaking gives you?
4.like in every game
About the casual matchmaking, I know its is complicated, but several games can do it without issues, and they can increase the penalty farm XP (its that, right?), if there are a low numbers of players in the room, for example, 4 players = 0 XP, other companies do that, and it works perfectly. And farming xp don’t make you a good player.
At least make us possible to join with a friend in a game.
There are just opinions, and please get some lvl education, you don’t need to start attacking me, I just tried to help, chill pls, don’t need to be pissed off.
with 600+ hours of gameplay, I only met no more than 4 cheaters who can use pistol only and head-shot only to kill players within 2 sec once you see his face. Most likely, the situation is noobs calling high skill level players “hackers”. And I play a lot of pub matches.
About balance and play with friends, CMM is the one that should be solve the issues or at least make it more balance. Also, I still don’t know why won’t SD make different channels base on different levels.

I think it’s funny how you mention how War Rock is/was one of the best shooters out there while bringing up points the game had WAY worse problems with than what Dirty Bomb has and the most incompetent developers I’ve ever heard of.
That being said, holy hell did I enjoy the game for years.
I can’t say I’ve seen any cheaters in a while. I’ve seen some suspicious players but none that I would definitively say are cheaters.
Nexon are the publishers behind War Rock and Dirty Bomb, yes. However, they are just the publisher and have nothing to do with the game code. Splash Damage are the developers of Dirty Bomb and Dream Execution are the developers of War Rock; Both games were around before Nexon got involved with the respective titles (A long time in the case of War Rock).
In the case of the game code being the same - They have nothing to do with each other. Two different developers (SD and DE) and two different game engines (Unreal Engine 3 and Jindo).
To be fair, WarRock and most F2P shooters (especially Korean ones) don’t include any balancing systems at all. Dirty Bomb’s balancing system is flawed, sure, but it does make an attempt at least.
One of the above posters made a good point - On a server browser based game, you can’t ensure the balance of an individual match throughout the entirety of the match when people can join/leave at will unless you A) Do a LoL style system of only beginning a match when both teams are full and not allow people to join empty spots if someone leaves or B) Keep automatically shuffling the teams through the entire match.
Both A and B would be a huge annoyance to everyone involved; it already takes a long time between games and in a game where such effort is required to gain a foothold on a match by going for objectives, constantly having play stopped to shuffle teams would be very frustrating to all involved.
This point clashes with your point 2. You can’t request stacking up with friends and for teams to be balanced based on level with any degree of accuracy.

Maybe it’s just me but, again, I haven’t seen any cheaters for a long time. There are a lot of good players on Dirty Bomb and people who have played for a long time and have become adjusted to the need to aim for the head in order to kill enemies.
Just something to consider; I can’t vouch for your experiences after all. Perhaps there are a lot and I’m just naive.

Thank you, I play fps for more than 20 years, and I like to help doing the things better, anyway, that’s why I spend money in that, of course I could read, but there are so much different points of view (initial points), and these one are mine, my opinions, I don’t have the intention to flame the game and the companies. Like I said, I write this because I enjoy the game and I think it could be a different excellent FPS.
My doubt is if the game worths the spent of money or not, and what is the intention to fix some problems it have, none borns perfect, that why I ask about their intentions/potential, and of course they need to work on it. I’ve seen a lot of potential games and the coders, just didn’t worked just because they didn’t want, because they can’t understand they need to spend money.
I’ve played the game for something like 400 hours in the game and have only seen a few cheaters. Sometimes there’s a couple cheaters after there’s a new “hack” that comes out or something, but other than that, I rarely see them.
Now in comparison to other games, Dirty Bomb has a lot less cheaters/hackers- especially for free-to-play FPS games. I have noticed that newer players tend to call out veterans for hacking, even if the veteran in question has shit aim (like myself). Plus, even when you do find an actual hacker, most of the time they are awful players and their hacks can only help them so much. I saw a dude who was clearly aimbotting, almost have a negative K/D because he was just a bad player.
