Allegedly there’s a new Tribes in dev but this wouldn’t be the first time it’s been tried and abandoned. Brink is A LOT like Tribes 2, just without jetpacks and vehicles and deployable command centers etc etc. Tribes was epic.

Yeah, there are jerks, but my biggest worry is, that quite soon there won’t be anyone left. Teamplayers and jerks alike. And when I say “worry” I mean it, since there is no shooter of interest for me out there. I wouldn’t know what to play. I just started to download TF2, just to be safe. But I really became so accustomed to the game(and allways loved the overall artstyle) that I can’t imagine playing a MW shooter. My opinion(taste) is, whether I play stuff like Red Orchestra(wich I haven’t played yet) and ArmA, or something like Brink, Quake, AvP, DS 2, L4D2 etc… Meaning, whether I play a “realistic” or a genre shooter, but I’m not a huge fan of semi-realistic. And I don’t wanna sound too paternal here, but MW-shooter of any kind are more dangerous for kids then splatter shooter like L4D. Since they convey a semi realistic view on real war as opposed to AvP, Quake or Dead Space 2 wich are set in a complete fictional environment.

If British cops really did look like the behemoth in the middle, there would be a lot less bull**** outside the kebab shops thats for sure.

I was playing some SP CC couple of days ago on my crappy home PC(I play MP on the weekends at a LAN center) & I headshot a bot with the HE charge. Now how do you headshot someone with a HE charge?

Kinda gives real meaning to… BOOM! HEADSHOT!! now doesn’t it?
