This is related to RedTractor’s post, but the problem he reported is in fact a bit broader.
It seems that whenever the respawn time is too short we still have some post processed visuals displaying. I’ve noticed it happens if I’ve died when:
- Redeye’s smoke grenade was in effect
- Thunder’s cuncussion grenade was in effect
- Dirt was on screen
At the moment those visual effects carry over when you respawn too quickly, but they should instead ‘reset to zero’.
There might be more, those are the ones I’ve noticed so far.
