Look, I can’t change any video setting to understand what actually causes what I’m talking about, but here is the thing.
The image quality on the 360 in 1080p is terrible and should be fixed, because it actually prevents a loto f us from enjoying a clean multiplayer game in 2011 on the 360.
The lack of anti-aliasing doesn’t seem to be the big problem. I think it has more soemthing to do with the terrible post-process used in Brink that makes all the screen look blurry and at certain distances, the characters have weird artifacts around them (not related to anti-aliasing directly, it’s like that post-process is exagerating that effect and make it even worst).
Maybe I’m wrong and it’s not the post-process, maybe the games actually runs on a too low resolution.
One thing is sure, Brink on the 360 should look much more clean, because a lot of people actually complained about graphics, but what they meant was image quality or clarity.
Please, patch that and give us a clean and sharp Brink.
I also own the PC version and I max it out, and really can’t explain how the game can be so much blurry on the 360, so I really think it has to do with a bad post-process… even the gun looks blurry.
