One of them is obviously castle, it even says it directly. I’m not sure on the other one though, don’t think it’s an existing map.
But well, DB has a lot of maps in the work that have been leaked. I remember hearing a map called Rebar that looked like a construction site, kind of similar to the lift in Chapel. Another, I think it was warehouse or workhouse? Idk, but you can look it up, there are even some YouTube videos showcasing them. Point being, there are a lot more maps in the work than just these ones, and we really need it.
And then SD confirms these are execution maps, making all hype go to drain (unless you’re Execution hipster).

Yeah and the Construction site is still there, right across from The Chicken Shop, mmmmnnnnn Chicken 
We actually need Execution maps. Only reason I don’t play the gamemode much is because the maps get boring after a few play throughs. Plus, they took away Execution missions

Execution could be good with a little reworking. New maps can only help
I would love a new execution map.
It really does provide a nice change of pace and players have more time to interact and laugh.
Bonus points if they include an Objective map at the same time REEEEEE
Well now that we got Dockyard, Vault and Castle is coming, I wouldn’t mind new Execution map 
I feel like it would’ve been better if SD just dedicated their time into creating maps that are mainly built for Stopwatch/Objective and take one objective site and sort of rework it for Execution mode. That way each full map made for the core of DB can include 3 maps for Execution and SD can have more time creating other content and maybe other gamemodes using this strategy for this game.

I wouldn’t mind if second part of Dome is reworked for execution map. 2 of 3 exe match happen to be Market, it even been happen 3 times in a row.
And, I think releasing maps with short period of time between two is not good, 2 month between them is ideal. I remember (in Asia) how player hate to play Dockyard and rarely vote them at first but now we like it, and now we rarely play Vault.
I think they don’t like to play something new and don’t already know, make us feels like newbs again, so let us have time to knows the map before releasing other map.
Execution is a dead mode, seriously, I barely find people play it for fun and not just for the daily bonus, and I don’t think the issue is maps. The mode itself is just not DB. I don’t think the mode is suited for all the bombs that we have in the game, or the mode has any sort of excitement around it. I believe they just added it for the sake of adding it cause really it is just a lot like CS bomb defuse in DB.
I’d rather they just leave execution behind and focus on what makes DB fun.
I’d rather people who don’t like Execution to just not play it, and leave people who like Execution to play it in peace without trying to get the devs to remove it from the game.

It’s not that, it’s not like me saying I dislike stopwatch so it should be removed. It’s that barely anyone plays it. There’s nothing wrong with liking it, but I’m really not sure if it can be saved at all.
I’ve encountered numerous times where no one was playing a Stopwatch game in my region, and then joined an Execution game instead.

Agreed. Execution was my most-played mode for the longest time. It’s a lot of fun, especially with friends. The lack of maps makes it get old, fast. It’s not like Objective where you have a large map and multiple objectives within the map (allowing for a variety of tactics and ways to play). In Execution, you’re playing on a much smaller map with the focus on one of two pylons. Of course there’s still tons of ways to play it, but with only 3 maps and less tactical opportunities compared to an Obj map, you get a gamemode that gets stale fast.
There’s a few changes that people have suggested before to help Execution a bit, but sadly, with the lack of players, it’s obviously not gonna be the focus. More maps would suffice though. It would be even better if those maps had less invisible walls…
Seriously, the maps in this game are killed by the pointless invisible walls/blocked routes. Both new obj maps, Dockyard and Vault, have way too many and it takes away from the gameplay fairly often.

My biggest problem with execution: air strikes don’t go well with one death/round. Or frag nades, maybe even proxy mines. The abilities are just not balanced around it.
Skyhammer/Kira killing 2-3 people and winning the round is not fun.
Maybe if it got reworked, like you respawn, but have only a limited amount of C4 or something, I might try it again.

Getting that Kira laser right on top of you or through a wall at the start of the round will always feel bad.
Or good, if you’re the Kira.
I myself got pretty tired of the start of round one-hit-kill spam, and the maps definitely got old quickly.
I’d like to see more ‘secret’ routes and trick jumps. It would be nice if the maps had an open central area for fighting, surrounded by tight and enclosed corridors for sneaking around the central area.
The current maps are a little too compact and open air. There’s hardly any over head cover. So hopefully any new maps will change from the current 2. The beta map they released with the beta Dockyard event was okay, had more of the secret routes I mentioned.
