Possible Trade In Improvements

So personally, I don’t hate the trade in system in the game at the moment, Its a bit expensive to use a lot which is a pain, but it will suffice for now I suppose. The only thing that I can think of that would make the Trade in system more usable, apart from reducing the cost (especially with the cobalt and gold cards) I think the best thing that could be done is remove the chance of getting the same loadout card as one that you use. For example If I’m trading in two cobalt C51 phantom cards (because any loadout for phantom that doesn’t have the katana is trash) I don’t want to spend 24000 credits and both the loadout cards, just to get another C51 card. That to me just seems like a good idea to help the players who want to spend the credits on the more expensive cards and for the people who have a stockpile of cobalt cards that aren’t very playable, but don’t want to risk the chance of just being back in the same position as they were before, except 24000 credits poorer and with one less card in their armory. 24000 credits is a fairly high amount of credits, and it’s almost always going to leave a bad impression on the player if they trade in a loadout card only to get the exact same card they traded in back, because of how the system currently works.

But I’m curious to hear what other people think would be good ways to help improve the Trade in system.

Make it a 1:1 trade with higher credits. 2 for one makes no sense to me and it’s pushed me away from the game tbh.

Should’ve been a 1:1 trade that cost 10K - 25K

Or a 2:1 with no credit cost

I doubt that Nexon gives Splash Damage much room to alter the current fact.

At the very least they should make it so you can’t get back one of the cards you traded in, as the OP suggested. Could be interesting to see something similar with trade-ups as well, so you could narrow down the RNG.

With the trade up, you profit is a next rarity card, maybe you trade up the best card of a metc and you want it again in for example gold
