If you take a quick run through the new tutorial or assault course you’d notice that the dummies have generated names as AI controlled enemies in many games do, could this maybe mean we might be getting an AI/Offline/Solo mode soon? That would be pleasant for people wanting to practice their aim on targets that can shoot back or for new players who don’t want to piss off a bunch of tryhards in a casual objective match. \o/

Coding/Programming bots aren’t easy and require a ton of code in order to mimic human behavior.
I doubt we will see bots in open beta let alone the final release of the game. Maybe the far future they will come. They can fill in empty spots on a team.
There’s just so many factors to consider and code when making bots.

Could have sworn I heard somewhere that bots were being considered but were very low on the priority list.
