im all new to scripting, a noob
im trying to create a new spawn point on goldrush and was have been wondering how i could find the origin of the spawn position that i want to insert,
for example:
origin “-2048 -1411 -189”
how do i come up with the number
“-2048 -1411 -189”
where and how do i find them on the map?

I got goldrush mapfile goldrush.map…
so for making things simple I can upload it or mail it to you…
only post a way here; How I for free can upload it or email you// if you post your email send it as a private messege on my account for avoid spamming…
Rvrstyx or what he’s called have made SW_goldrush_TE, and I don’t think he used scripting…
but you can also use smoke and look for the place self but it takes time…
The source file of goldrush (goldrush.map) actually comes shipped with Radiant, so he should already have it. If you can’t find it download it here.
For the origin:
#1 Open goldrush in radiant.
#2 Go to the spot where you want a spawn
#3 set a spawn (right click > team > red/blue-spawn)
#4 open Entities window [N]
#5 copy the origin numbers into your script

Some more hints there.
Go ingame and start a test server with this map. Go to the place (can be as spectator) where you wanna add the spawnpoint and type in console /viewpos
the command will show the origin x y z angle
