Point of Silver or higher cards

(Tupperware) #1

Hey there!

i actually dont get the point of silver or higher cards. Its kinda pointless to go, e.g., for a gold Nader if u got a decent bronze Naderwith nice abilities. Ive got a gold Nader already, but dont use her cause my bronze one is better then the gold one.
Thats killing the fun abit tbh, cause i rly enjoy the way u can get rare cards.

So in my opinion the abilities should get increased slowly with the rarity. For example: one of the Nader abilities is, that the range of the grenades increased by 10% (bronze). So it would be nice if a Nader silver card would give 12% or 11%, or just any range increasement. Just to make sure that theres a difference to a bronze card.
More over a gold card should be better than a silver card and so on.
What you think?

No, would be p2w.

The point of the higher tiers isn’t to be mechanically stronger, just flavorfully stronger. I don’t wear cobalt so I can shoot better, I wear cobalt so I can look better.

Anything beyond bronze is just for vanity, if they were to buff the augments that would be the absolute death of their game, period. The current augments are good enough so they’re not game breaking and can be easily acquired just by roughly playing the game for 3 days, no real life money or luck involved.
That’s how a game’s economy should work, under NO circumstance should the game reward a player’s luck with an unfair advantage. Ex: TF2 (economy based on cosmetics), CS:GO (economy based on shiny knives, stickers and gun skins, no real advantage here either).

Your suggestion would effectively turn DB in a pay to win state, which is not a good thing. The game is supposed to be fair for everyone.

All rarities above Bronze are purely cosmetic, that’s what makes DB fair and not P2W.

You get skins. Which are fine if you ask me. It’s your choice and risk if you want to gamble those Bronze cards. :stuck_out_tongue:
