MD3 models are released still these days for HRP using this exporter; If you friend like to do things from scratch, he doesn’t need en importer: eh can save his work in .blend and export in .md3 :slight_smile:

As pointed nonoMapper, you can use a version with a functional import script and a more recent with the export function.

Blender 2.63 & Python 2.6 installed, I have the export script from Duke4 for quite some time, I’ve been able to make and export untextured chairs and table some time ago :D…

Edit: Also got a MilkShape importer in it. May interest thunderpwn, I think it is natively built in but not enabled

Even if you model from scratch, using the original md3 models is good for referencing to the original size etc. cause without it is hard.

yep, doesnt work…hehe
I do not have problems making md3 with milkshape… Its the animations… the exporter in milkshape doesnt work.
So I think I’ve hunted down a guy who can help me out with this problem… just have to wait and see if he answears on my mail…
