I started playing DB only about 4 days ago (~10 hours in-game so far). I’ve worked my way up to lvl 7 and have played 5 competitive games so far. Of those 5 competitive 5v5 matches, 4 have had obvious cheaters ruining the fun for my side. I’ve got several years of experience in competitive FPS games and I know a cheater when I see one (and I don’t automatically accuse anyone that owns my ass). These cheaters were so obvious it was crazy. I’m talking the cheater rounds the corner and all 5 of my team are dead in a second from head shot pistol shots. Worse part is you can’t spectate them, I have no easy way to report them, and you can’t leave the match before both sides have switched and the 2 matches end. I’m hoping I’m just unlucky, but this is terrible if it’s as frequent as it seems to me. I absolutely refuse to play any more competitive matches until something is changed. If I’m not the only one doing so, then the devs have a serious problem on their hands and the game will die before the beta is ended. Bad reps don’t die as quickly as you do to a cheater…
Please tell me I'm just unlucky...
1st of all i dunno if u can report players at the moment but i think if u cant they’re working on a system like that and 2nd of all they’re workin hard from what i know to end cheating and have a anti cheat system but ur a bit unlucky to be honest cus the only 2 cheaters i saw in DB weren’t in competitive and was in a game of OBJECTIVE on terminal and every shot he got was a headshots and he turned way to quick to be that accurate and the 2nd one just got 1 shot bodyshots with a sniper. But i’ve played only 3 games of competitive and i haven’t seen any.
4/5 MM matches having hackers is probably worse than average, but there are a lot of hackers in MM. It could vary depending on what rank you are, but I’m not sure. Based on what I’ve seen from queuing on teams of 4-5 cobalt or high-gold ranked players, if you play MM a couple of hours a night expect to run into at least one hacker a day on average. Pub servers actually have a lot fewer.
Pub servers actually have a lot fewer.
That is slowly changing, in the past two days ive ran into 3 times the amount of hacking players than i had in the first 3 weeks of playing pub matches. But to report a player right click then click their name to get their steam profile and submit a ticket through nexon, easiest way is to find a post from @Ardez and click the report hacker link he has in his sig.
I’ve seen very few hackers myself. The last was a sniper with aimbot a few days back.
You can report hackers through the website. It’s pretty fast actually, and they seem to be okay with just a scoreboard screenshot.
Please report players here:

And no you’re not unlucky. There have been remarkable more cheaters since last week in Competitive Gameplay.
Therefore share this link with who-ever you can. Make sure you recorded the player, or at least have some kind of prove.
Don’t flame the game. The game itself is still beta, therefore the anit-cheat is still in beta. But they are working on it as we speak.
Just hang on!
(Also you can right-click his name in game, and report the player (to steam)).
