Please remove "Win 1 Competitive Match" missions.

Title. Can take hours to find a competitive match and when you do there’s a massive chance you’re playing against a premade, a cheater, or with a borderline retarded team. Having to remove half the missions I’m getting because they’re a pain to do gets really tiring.

Figured I’d try this specific mission for once so just queued and went to do other shit in the meantime. Found a match after about 2 hours, which turned into a 4v5 a couple minutes in. At halftime 2 of my teammates were still at 0 kills. Needless to say that turned into a loss, which I wouldn’t have an issue with if my mission only required me to play rather than win. In this case though it’s just pissing me off and with how bad MM is in it’s current state I don’t even understand why this mission exists in the first place. Please remove it.

A match after 2 hours? It doesn’t take any longer than 4-5 minutes for me and those are the worst times. It’s usually within a minute or two. You can always just skip it, nobody is forcing you to play the mission.

Can’t agree more with this. It’s annoying when I can only play one mission set a day (ie. if I’m working and having to do Uni in one day) and I come home to find my missions include competitive missions like that. :frowning:

Perhaps we can hope for a re-roll one day, or something. ^.^

Competitive missions with the current playerbase and matchmaking is just asking for headaches.

Either remove it, or significantly increase the reward. And the balance is a complete joke. Had a round with a team of all silver ranks, and the enemy team was all gold ranks.

Exedore mentioned something about this mission being talked about along with the side mission one. They sounded like they were very aware that people didn’t like them.

I tried to do that mission once, it was the 1st time I got it. After 3 comp games where I lost 3 in a row I decided “Fuck this mission I prefer my sanity than get 1000 credits in this game”.

You shouldn’t be playing competitive for credits to begin with. Stupid mission that force people that don’t want to play to play and ruin it for those who do want to play.

I know in league of legends it’s something like 20% of North American players actually que for the ranked MM. I think they saw something similar (probably worse) and just decided to turn it into a social experiment. A really sucky one for (most) players. I got a decent sized group that will all play together and que together but not everyone has that.

I never que ranked unless we have 4 or 5 total. For example if I get the quest and don’t have 4-5 online I just abandon that quest.

It’s ranked of course there are going to be pre mades…sucks to say it but get your own group going and if you really don’t like it start abandoning like I do. Start looking for people to play with in pubs and just add them to your friends list that’s what I did.

It’s pretty easy to do these if you have a group of friends to play with. I usually just stash up these competitive missions and then wait for my friends to be online so we can play as a pre-made team. it takes like 1 - 5 minutes to find a game for me.
The only problems I’ve had with competitive are hackers and annoying salty teammates when you have a 4-man-premade instead of 5.
