Please Nerf Hochfir SMG & Fix Crotzni SMG

Hello,

I wanted to share my point of view on these 2 weapons.

Hochfir in my opinion is way too over powered, its accuracy is very high, it has a high fire rate, it has a huge clip size and above all it’s light (which makes you movespeed nearly the same as your knife and secondary)

I mainly play proxy and sawbonez, have this weapon for proxy and it’s a bomb on this particular merc.
Her move speed is very fast and this gun light which is formula for pwnage.
Every time I get to play vs this smg it’s a nightmare, the proxy can just run around and lineup headshot after headshot without needing to stop because of the high accuracy (even after jump).
Now this may not seem huge, but right now, the accuracy is so high and I’ve constantly seen proxies “snipe” from a far far range.

Now you guys nerfed Crotzni a while back and I thought how wrong you were on calling it the best smg as compared to that one and was shocked by the nerf, but it proved to be a good nerf, the gun was still balanced, just dealt less damage. But right now, shooting close, mid or long range is a pain and the smg recoils crazy and doesnt even hit in the middle of its marker.

I have an aggressive play style and sawbonez was great for that play style, my Crotzni made it easier for me to engage knowing it had good accuracy on some level, now after this patch and the changes you made to the accuracy after jump, add in the previous nerfs, I am struggling to hit a barnyard from point blank. (don’t even get me started on long range engagements)…

Which is why I believe that the changes should be swapped, the Hochfir should get an accuracy, fire rate and clip size nerf while Crotzni’s changes should be reverted to the original (as the new accuracy penalty system already does the job of the past nerf). I’m saying this because I swapped from a proxy shotgun to this card and it immediately doubled my KDA and accuracy with her, it’s amazing at long range and close range, the clip size begs for spray and pray and the movespeed combined with proxy’s movespeed makes you feel like you’re matrixing the hell outta your enemies.

Please take this into consideration, i really enjoyed playing sawbonez and right now he is very weak with that particular smg while wild proxy stacks run around together with that smg, rekting.

Naaah.

Crotzni is still powerful, just not very effective at longer ranges.

Hochfir is deadly in the hands of very good players, but struggles badly against players that dodge headshots. If you fight a fragger with Hochfir, and they wont let you line up their heads: it will take forever to take a player out. Its good in 1on1s due to the mobility, like you pointed out, but lacks the punch to score epic multikills.

Crotzni feels decidely average now, whereas the Hochfir feels like a lazer in comparison.

dunno, I guess you can ignore this rant of mine, I played some more and got used to the crotzni now and hochfir did feel a bit underwhelming at some places and overwhelming in others, guess it’s situational :expressionless:
