I keep getting thrown into EU servers with 130 ping when I use quick join :neutral:

Server browser yes, but dont rely on the ping. Instead go for the name filter:

EU
AUS
RUS
east
west

(US would bring up aussie and russian servers)

Isn’t the whole point of Quick Play to throw you in the best server for your ping?
Are you telling me that it is failing at it’s only (and limited) use?

Keep seeing 100+ ping players in EU lobbies, one guy was level 50 or smth and was bragging about how good he was, what he didn’t realize was that nothing any of our team was throwing at him was registering.

Best, populated server. This additional criterion changes a lot here.

I’m assuming 100+ is higher then what you had on that server.

Higher ping is a disadvantage to whoever plays with it, and an advantage to whoever plays against high pinger. If you got wrecked by a guy with higher ping, then he’s just that much better.

Lulnope, not saying your name i am being serious, been in other games before where every shot connects and beasting the other team and then suddenly someone from outerspace on a 1g dial up modem joins and boom! shots start being absorbed (everyone not just the high pinger), and the rage starts flowing.

I would like to think its just me, but It has happened too many times on too many different games that I am confident in what I am saying. There is a reason why most games have a ping limit.

Use these filters in server browser, have some etiquette towards your fellow DB player

Mine look like this
EU -max -South AM -AUS -ASIA -US -RUS

Swap out EU for your region so for instance if you are from russia it will look like this

RUS -max -South AM -AUS -ASIA -US -EU

if you are level 5 or under then replace the -max with +max to find only max level 5 servers

if you are level 6+ then you can use -max to remove max level 5 servers from the server list

if you are level 10+ then you can use -max +min +level +10 to find only Level 10 + servers but usually empty though

if you dont like 7vs7 or 8vs8 then you can use +6vs6 (or anyother combination) to find max player count servers

you can type +lobby if you dont want to play games that are half way through etc aswell

I am sure there are many more filters too, just haven’t found them yet.

I would use this. It’s like goldi locks. <50 isn’t that many results, <150 is fine but don’t really wanna play with a 150 ping unless i have to.

i get 60-80 ping to east/west servers so i cant select <50…

i know exactly what the point of quick join is, still dont want to be thrown into EU servers…

appreciate the condescending reply tho
