Please just make the daily bonus reset at the same time for everyone

The dailies are currently broken. But I don’t complain about that.
My problem with it is that it resets at some random time and it’s different for everyone and it’s just weird.

Please, simply make it reset at a specific time, just like the old daily 500 credits worked.
I think since Splash Damage is a British company, 00:00 (midnight) GMT sounds like a good time.
And the week should reset every Sunday or Monday since that’s when a new week begins

I always liked games with a daily reset around noon or early afternoon. In case you missed a daily in the evening because of some social event lasting past midnight, you could still do it in the early morning.

But it’s not quite possible to make it noon for everyone because timezones. Making it based off your computer clock can be abused easily and making it different for each region will be just weird and probably complicated.

I prefer if they just set a specific time, some people will have it reset at night, some in the morning and some in the noon

I doubt that local time is involved anywhere with this. The rewards are probably managed by some central server that uses UTC.

I don’t really see how. The only case to consider is that a player can spoof his region using proxy servers. But that can be solved my allowing to move the time zone only forward. If moved backward, the player simply looses one cycle until the time matches again.

Similarly, the preferred reset time could be an option (internally not using local time but UTC).
