Too many times have I seen a game in which one team was completely shut down due to unbalanced teams. I, and probably many others feel that somehow, the matchmaking system should be fixed. I think a level system in which the players with similar levels play together would work, so high skilled players don’t stomp out matches full of lower leveled and much less skilled players. Either way, it’s just an opinion. Deal with it as you wish, I guess.

This is not a “matchmaking issue”. Its an individual skill level issue. And the game has no real way to know if one individual is more skilled than another* when, for example, rebalancing teams every round on Oj.
*i should point out b4 proceeding: if u are under level 6 - PLAY the under level 5 servers!!!
unbalanced teams of people is just what is going to happen in small pop FPS that is mainly set up to focuse on Comp (rather than pub) play. In a comp teams strengths are known because u have qualifiers and ladders and all the structure. Thats not the case in pubs.
Devs are full aware of this - to get evenly matched teams in pubs u need like 20v20 games on big maps. Like ET and QW had. This means if u have some shit players they balance out with some good players. with 8v8, let alone 5v5, there just is no fat on a team to carry bad players.

I think all those level 5s that have no clue about the game are making matchmaking bad.
I mean seriously “COMPETITIVE” that is exactly what they are not. You are not comp. when you roughly know how to use the core mechanics like repairing, reviving (roughly i mean come on.) and killing. It is a real let down when a high skilled player plays 5v5 without his mates, he just gets 30 minutes of pain and feels like he joined a pub server.
Get that level up to 10 or 15. Give them some reasonable time before they hit matchmaking! I see alot of those “new players” hitting Gold4-3 and me as a vet with reasonable aim and skill chilling around at gold1 they are not that far away from me and for a matchmaking system it is reasonable to match them to me since they should face some kind of competition. We have way to many new player playing Matchmaking which tend to give them the chance of getting a rank they dont deserve.
