Playing pub while queuing for ranked

Considering the insanely long wait times for ranked games, it would be nice if we could play pubs while we’re in queue for ranked. Thank you!

Then what happens while you are playing the game, or Stopwatch?

You get the queue pop, accept and get transferred to the ranked lobby.

Yeah it’d be nice. I can actually do something while waiting the 20 minutes for a game.

Some games let you play a unrelated mini game while waiting in queue. I would like this.

That would screw over regular pubs pretty often. However, if there was a feature within the MM system that allowed you to play on a server that only had players who are also waiting it would be fine since everyone would have the expectation that 1-5 people might leave at any point.

Alt + Tab and do whatever you want until game pops up B)

Even if it was just placing the party members in a room where they could play DM it would already be something.

Who the fuck cares? It’s a pub. People regularly just leave mid game anyway. And I don’t think it would be such a big problem, not that many people queuing for ranked in the first place.

Yea, although this idea sounds good, it can disturb pubs even more which can be very annoying. Right now SD just needs to focus on solving bugs, making more maps, better team balances to attract more players. A bigger pool of players can make matchmaking faster as well.
