Players now equip the most suitable weapon when revived (Lies)

Based on the change in this updated (http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/34196-DIRTY-BOMB-UPDATE-Monday-January-21st) specifically “Players now equip the most suitable weapon when revived” I’ve noticed that a lot of times I will be in a firefight and have my main smg equipped… run out of ammo and then I will swap weapons and die (with significant ammo left in my secondary). When I get revived, I will rez with weapon1, that has little or no ammo - even though I died with weapon2 that had a lot.

This feature still leaves a lot to be desired… worst case, if the weapon we died with has < x ammo, then revive with the other weapon, provided it has a significant source of ammo as well.

(Worse worst case, revive us with the weapon we died with regardless).

I too have the same issues with this feature.

I personally would much rather keep the item I had last equipped when I am revived. Even if it is an almost empty gun. At least I will know how to react after being revived.

+1 When I am playing soldier I never use the current primary weapon unless it is all I have left. So when I die and am revived I have to change back to it even though it was what I died using. I agree with Cup and think you should have the same weapon equipped that you die with as well - regardless of if you are out of ammo on SMG. But if you say, tossed your last grenade/consumable item then died - then it should default to primary?

I would also like this feature to be removed, the game shouldn’t be deciding which is the most suitable weapon, it should just be the one I was last using. As stated above, its a major problem when soldier as the soldier MP is a finishing weapon at best and you invariably die again when you are forced to use it on revive, or you lose valuable time switching back to the MG.
