You should make statistics for every player like in CS where you can see how many games you played, how many victories etc. It would make multi player gaming more interesting.
Player stats
Please look for threads where this is discussed about already BEFORE you start a new one.
Stats would be interesting but they are offensive too. There are many good players in here. But there are (as in most other games) many, that just came into the game or need longer to get the main-idea of the game.
Statistics often end in an offensive way of discussions : “… is too good / too bad” “look your stats, your just bad.”
you do not think so? I DO .
It takes 1 game to see wether a player is more in the upper class of gaming or more a new player.
If someone needed long to get into the game his statistics are down. it will take very very long to take him up again.
if you look into the pros and cons of statistics… there are not many pro-arguments … but many negative sides.
WITH statistics : you may see how good someone plays the game ( or at least how his average of w/l is)
–> with that you can find people on your level
Well… I do not find more stricking arguments at the moment but THIS can already be seen in the game: The level indicates how much a player played. you can guess who will often be better : a level 8 or a level 27. AND you have an indicator for the character use : the character-level.
There will probably be stats soon, when the game gets more popular But I will always claim: they are bad for the forum-mood.
btw. Why would the GAMING be more interesting? I rather like to be surprised by someone than knowing how good he is when I enter the game.
You see someone at the top of ranking lists and challenge him. Do you think he is good or was he just lucky with the enemies or even cheating?
If you want rankings for yourself or people of your level: make a “ranking- list” in here. A single league: people who want to enter may enter it and have to compede against others. the gaming results are saved and you may go up or down in the ranking. This shows who is better then whom but does not discriminate “All” new or bad players.
I hope your get my point…

Guys he right now that you think of it you dont want poeple to be mad at the end of game like i have a 3win and 10 lose in a row that would be very upsetting for new player or even poeple who play daily at the end of a match I want to feel good that almost won not mad about a slip up or 2 but if you got poeple who wanted to be ranked like the other games make one on this web site
Stats dont need to be public, it will just rule if i could see my own stats. In Some games only positive stats are shown to all publically for instant.
Would be fun with some kind of tracker on how many times you won or lost and on which stage. Perhaps just between those on your friendslist.
Other way could be to make some kind of tournament between friends or by the devs. That is something I would really like to see
I’d like to see public stats on character usage over the whole player base, like they do for League on Legends.
Ignoring the starting characters, it lets you see if people are gravitating to certain strategies.
That would actually be really nice to see if such things are currently tracked internally. At the very least we could bicker about how half the people who get Dee Hatlacker don’t use him effectively or something.
I now heared a few things that sound fair, it shows stats (like it seems nearly all of you want it) but does not offend newer or at that moment “bad” players. : - only display positive stats : victories, characters killed,…
- only display stats to yourself or friends (or a option where you can choose wether privat, friendlist or wordwide display)
- only display neutral stats: usage, games played, maps played…
I personally have nothing to hide, I can show you all games I played (I make screenshots after each and every game) i just think that the stat display is always coupled with an offending of newer or at that moment “bad” players. people always make prejudices when theysee stats of other persons, it is in “our” nature. so my suggestion is above, and here once again: display the important but not offending stats: the games played, the maps played, characters used, weapons used… or nothing because for me the level and character levels gives me a estimated information on that.I hope you get what I mean.

I think this was over-analyzed, brother. Regardless of a family-friendly game, where the ratio of inept players is much greater than the several skilled juggernauts, I think statistics are very beneficial, not only desired but necessary… Look at many a successful, competition-friendly games; Bomberman Live, X-Com, Runescape, etc - all successful, varying genres of games. I think it encourages healthy competition and allows one to further track your in-game achievements (such as the existing Game Center on all Apple Touch products…).
I don’t think “Stats are discriminatory” in any way. That’s as bad as a race stereotype that contradicts itself.
IMO, I think they are long past due, just as greatly desired as they are necessary.
