Given the amount of control I have over this matter, even if I did present a solution, it won’t make a difference. Satisfying your skepticism won’t fill a glass half full. I thought you would be smart enough to know that.
Here’s for your reference. Can’t be bothered reporting this POS anymore, cause it doesn’t make a difference.
I have a slew of e-mail addys from my provider shaw.ca
not 1 of them have an e-mail requirement, but you keep posting BS, I’ll start flagging as spam and abuse, your call

I said it before. Nexon bans accounts, not cheating players. It’s what they can do.
I believe it’s high time a line is drawn. The system does not work.
@K1X455 I asked you this before in another thread that, I believe, you never answered. So, given your technical knowledge, please tell everyone how you solve this particular problem. I’d love to hear it.
I think when he said “It’s what they can do” he was implying that it’s all they can do. I don’t think he was trying to say there are better ways they can currently do it
No, he didn’t mean that before and didn’t mean it this time.

I am not simply being skeptical. I am a mod on this forum and you’re doing the whole FUD/crusading thing. I know we don’t drive home forum rules here much because the mods, Raz and MM before her, are big believers in letting people speak even if it’s not always positive. Good information can be gotten from upset people and we try to encourage intelligent conversation here as opposed to intimidation. But you have to at least make an attempt.
So I’m giving you a chance to explain yourself in an acceptable manner that either gives you credible logic behind what you keep saying but not intelligently defining or, at minimum, a simple error in what you believe to be possible compared to what is actually possible. So knowing what you now know in regards to the topic and the forum rules, please, explain away @K1X455. I also have “no control” over the game but that hasn’t stopped me from articulating what I want to see.
if they make another email they need to put different cell number in it, which you have to buy, which not many freeloaders willing to do.
you don’t need a cell phone to make an e-mail account, are you drunk ?
the only email service provider that was recently pulled the need to use phone number is Gmail which will ask you for phone number the next time you use the email for “Security reasons”.
Edit: i just learned, if you put the year of birth at 1998 you can create one but you still will be asked to put in a phone number next year after you created the email or you wont be able to use it anymore.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND ???
I NEED NO CELL PHONE TO MAKE E-MAIL ACCOUNTS
you DO need your wireless number to get the free email from Shaw.ca
if you are currently using their service in your home or having a portable broadband it has your ID number which is used by the ISP to verify and to keep track of your internet traffic.
you may not know about the wireless number or the broadband number you own but the ISP have it. This is not 2008 where you can create E-mail without a connection to one of your devices by ID or number.
feel free to flag Spam or abuse me like you said before, i did try to find out about it, i know im right.
my cell is with a different provider than my internet, they have NO CONNECTION, I don’t use my cell online EVER
your moronic crap is getting annoying, I now consider it abuse
I think this whole thing about the cell phone needs to be dropped…I haven’t ever had to provide one myself, and I do have multiple emails (sorry @SweetColumn lel)
Seems like Valve made VAC bans more harsh by applying them to all accounts linked to the same phone number. The new premium matchmaking service for CS:GO (Prime) requires accounts to link a phone number for access. More info here.
A phone number is not required for a new Steam account though so SD/Nexon would need to require DB players to link a phone number to their Steam account for any of this to make a difference AFAIK.
Why is everybody talking about phone numbers and email addresses? This seems like a better solution.
I can’t be bothered given the amount of “technical cynicism” that you’ve been harping around comparing anti-cheats being similar to an anti-virus. No. They’re not the same. They might have similar mechanics in detection, but their reporting threshold are totally different. Besides, some games allow for such hacks and some of them are even written around those hacks.
Further, harping your credentials on the matter hasn’t stopped and now even closed beta players from either diminishing their presence. Just imagine if everyone stops using the in-game reporting for hackers. How do you suppose the system will ever cope up? It just won’t work and you refuse to accept that.
Really? I’ll believe your when the known hacks in my list stop playing the game. They’re still there… fine tuning in places where no one would suspect. Making smurf accounts to get them to level 20+ to gain credibility/legitimacy. Then they use their main accounts with fine tuned controls. All under the smoke and mirrors of “no naming and shaming”; well I got policies too. I’ll tell you that as much as the following:
[]You know the right things from previous known attempts of cheat detection[]You know unique IDs can be countered, altered, spoofed[]You also know the cost of countering, altering and spoofing these IDs[]You should accept the fact that Dirty Bomb is not the only game they play/they will ever play
If there’s anything I am upset of, it is the fact that I can’t play 3 hours of Dirty Bomb S T R A I G H T. I used to play 8 hours… gosh, I love this game. I can’t even imagine how other players get to stream 24 hours. How did you come to the conclusion that I’m upset about hackers ruining my game (or stealing my XP, or beating me 8 to 1), enough to make me rant things about this the thread? Where did you get that?
What baffles me is the level of articulation you have but you failed to comprehend something simple when said when I stated that “it’s what they can do”. What other meaning do you want to come out of that? Or what level of intelligence will it require to explain to you that it is what “they can do”? There’s nothing personal about it. It’s just “what they can do”, they chose to do it that way, they should very well learn to know that something is wrong about it and should be gracious enough to take heat from their own player base for it. Why are you irked about it anyway? You probably are just at the end of your wits because it’s what you can do. I’m not crusading against the policy Nexon has put in place (I trust that they will come up with better things… ). But my goodness, with the blatant use of unfair advantage in the game and the fact that it is someone elses’ legitimate business, you cannot argue the fact that there is something wrong and anything you claim effective has questionable efficacy. What sort of logic do you use to defend such claims anyway? Are you the one at the end of the “Report Violation” function deciding whether a player gets “warned, suspended, banned” that you personally can’t figure out anymore what to do? Are you taking the heat for it?
So I’m giving you a chance to explain yourself in an acceptable manner …
You honestly think I need your acceptance? How will that profit me? Will it fix my audio/fps stutter?
BTW, there’s a story behind this picture.
See that dead Skyhammer over there? He is the one hacking. This is a prime example of a newly created account used to “fine tune the controls”, but he got so clumsy, so he got caught. There was a heated exchange of messages but this was the thing that got me to screen cap. I got to hand it to this guy though. He’s got finesse to run the hack, it’s just that he got clumsy.
Fletcher and I decided to get even with this hacker and decided that I’ll bait him. Of course, a fine tuned hacker will have his FoV a bit off if he even has the finesse to be discrete about his business, but unfortunately, he fell prey to the simple tricks of angle of fire. I shook my head afterwards knowing that someone will be using the in-game report function. I was wrong.
I saw him again… two days later all by himself “fine tuning” things with 2 other players. They thought he was legit, cause after all, his level was above the other two new players. Then the server got swamped with other players and then the map changed. Ohh… but I came ready this time… and then decided to go blatant about it. Not sure if I should exert the effort of putting it on YouTube, though… video of 8 minutes of shameless hacking. It only glorifies the coder. Strangely enough, someone made a thread about it. Strangely enough, Nexon did something quick about it after the thread was made. Haven’t seen him as of late, but then again, I’ve seen other things. Maybe I’ve seen the same person over again, this time using a “finer tuned version”.
I saw another picture just recently… something rather strange… I can’t tell yet, but it’s disturbing. Very disturbing. Or it could be something I haven’t seen before. MOFO update brings with it a lot of things that are downright the sort of things that sends the likes of SaganOnRoids packing. I sure do hope player retention becomes a background focus of SD.
