I thought i’d give it a go too at editing it :infiltrator:
Here is the result Clicky
Ignore the texture, did not fit properly with uvs, but now he looks more stronger from body imo.
Best of luck
Hopefully Alpha Red helps you out.

Actually you help me more than him,the UV’s on the legs were already fixed, haven’t time to post it,I need to improve that ugly neck thing and some UV’s.
Alpha Red,I gave you the source:rolleyes:,and about your picture, the flat chest is quite normal, the boy doesn’t need to be 200 kg of muscles like in the original models, also there is a knee,it’s just that in T position you can’t see it, it’s above ,and there is no double elbows, it’s just me that tried to modelise some bump on the arm, so that it’s not too smooth.
@alpha red
i see you always critsm modellers -
and you talk like a pr0
can you show us few models you did for ET?
maybe we can learn of you
I’ll see what I can do for you BackSnip3, I’m busy this week but I may get some time.
Ischbinz,
I was the former modeling head for EastFront but sicne that ended a while ago I’ve been on a few different projects. I’m basically done with modeling for ET, but I know basically everything about modeling for it. I even have done some animation for it too.
So ya, I know ET modeling and I like to help others with their endeavors into ET mdioeling because back when I started, there was no documentation. Only a few knew anything. I learned everything I know from trial and error. It also took me several years to find sufficient Blender md3 scripts that worked importing and export animations.
I wouldn’t consider myself a pro, although I bet some think I am. Don’t take my critiques as me being elitest, I’m just trying to help.
sorry i dunno eastfront mod itself -
i found some stuff -
looks not so bad -
but i still do not see any ET-model created complete by you -
for me there are 2 types of critism:
positive
and
negative
a example for positive: looks quite good - but can you try to make this or that better?
a example for negative:looks ok - but I would make it so or so (you posts often sound like a fault-finder or schoolmaster like - and this really pisses me off)
sorry for my harsch words - but your words can take others the fun away
btw - do eastfront have own playermodels?!
That was a long time ago, I’ve improved heaps past that. Also, I have never made a thing for ET. I never liked ET too much so I never made models for it. I made models for EF and TC:E, because I liekd those mods.
Anyways, to your crit thing.
Why wouldn’t someone want to improve their models? Back when I first began I would’ve died for good constructive crits so that I could improve my work. But I never could get any. When I finally found a place where people would critique my work I saw a big difference. It helped me improve by showing other modelers my work and then they could tell me what they thought was wrong or could be improved. If you don’t like what I say, ignore it. You don’t have to change a thing, its your model remember.
… sorry for noobing now:

… where the “heck” is the difference ?!
greetz Cambo
I don’t model for a game I don’t play. I know its the same but I’d rather play with my models in a game I actually enjoy playing.
Looks amazing
2 little things: first pic: pants are very low?
and the texture is a little bit to lack and monotone
But good job!! :stroggtapir:
Ye pants are low because it’s some kind of infiltrated terrorist so he shows it with his big panties ya know…Will try to fix that, but in T position it’s ok…
Got some fixed stuff like the arms but got new problems now with the bottom torso/up pants looking weird, and lightray does double vertices everywhere!

i want it for et, with additional files to ensure that this model is used only on certain map.
really nice!
