Player Gibbing Discrepancies?

So to kill time I was/am in a server with Valdez and Evil-Doer (both people who rage me) so I suggested we check if there is a difference between headshots and bodyshots while shooting players to gib them (based on our earlier discussion with gib rewards).

Turns out, there’s a pretty big difference.

For example, FIVE headshots compared to NINE bodyshots.

These numbers changed based on WHAT weapon was used, and WHICH class was being gibbed.

Also for example, Engineers gibbed in 5 headshots… Soldier gibbed in 6 headshots.

There obviously seems to be a discrepancy for gibbing players based on A) Weapon B) Shot Location C) Class being gibbed.

I (and at least Valdez agrees) there should be a consistency with gibbing incapacitated players regardless of weapon, shot location or class type. Either 1 knife kills all… (or 5 headshots kills all)…

… but really… FIVE headshots to gib?

That is a little extreme!

I’ll look into it…

An Oregon man who went to a hospital complaining of a headache was found to have 12 nails embedded in his skull from a suicide attempt with a nail gun, doctors say.

5? pfft. Weak!

Clearly a Medic gave a Soldier adrenaline. THIS IS ALL EXPLAINABLE, PEOPLE!
