Player communication

Player communication is still awful. SD seem to announce something will happen “soon” and then they wont say another word about it until the day of release. Telling us about events a week or even a few days in advance would be a good start and a good way to build up hype. Patches are a joke seeing as last time you released the update notes after the update went live. You shouldve posted the changes a few days in advance.

@TheStrangerous Sure. I just want to know whats going on with the game and what we can expect. Im sure the majority of the community would like to know whats happening too.

@Tom2160 I wouldnt get my hopes up. There has been so many threads on this topic. In some someone from SD even posted, that they will change and improve communication and nothing changed at all. I think those FAQ fridays were a result of the complaints about the lack of communication.

But to be honest, FAQ fridays never improved the communication and were really short lived. If you really like this game and dont want to dispair. Focus your energy on playing the game. If you focus on what happens around the game, you will just burn out. SD is horrible at communicating with their larger playerbase. It has been like this since forever and probably wont change.

Larger as majority of playerbase. I guess, they run their ideas by a selected group, but I cant remember that there were any communication regarding: phantom changes, crafting, dockyard changes after blockout version, and so on with the “normal” beta testers or any information about it except: “wow, check this out! new hype! it will come out in 1 week!”

Based on this secrete event that poped up today i feel like u must be part of the eleite few to be in the loop or considered comunity. If any one of us wants to be in the behind the scenes loop, i guess we need to become famous streamers it seams.

Were the poor peasents of the royal village that no one cares about.

I love this game but when i see this vip crap and how u need to be royalty to be given info or be part of the pts it makes me not want to play. Ive had years of beta testing games back when cd games were still a thing and your pay was the final copy of the game. yet i dont qualify for pts because im not part of there inner circle.

I dont watch the elite communite streamers any way. When im on twitch im usualy on the low viewership streamers playing for the first time. giving them game tips to help them out. i enjoy those streams more any way

Im starting to think that these latest obsidains with new meshes are the doing of the eleite fews comments not ours

Dont think they care or want. to remember when nexon gave up rights to db the streams came to a complete stop.

Also ya notice that the whole faqing fridays that was supposed to unite the different platforms and make sure were all on the same boat just stoped. Thats why i started the posted elsewhere thread so us forgoten members here can keep us all inforemed something sd gave up on. If i had time and wasnt so tired after work and didnt have a family id make my own faqing fridays. I mean i could do it on lunch as my lunch is always me sleeping in my truck bored out of my mind, but i dont exactly work by choice work in an area that i feel comfortable leaving my laptop or amy personal belongings in there.

Well if thats the case then im that whole were hiring spree they meed to hire another social media rep.

When we had raz and miss murder there was way more comunication. It seems like nexon forced in a good way the communication part of the project. When nexon was here there was physical prizes more contests more interaction. Guess splash learned less from working with other publishers than they claim.

Raz herself said she had tons of comunity ideas, contests and other comunity things that was denied by them. She was so upset and agravated working with sd she was glad it was over. Hell we posted about her on a thread and some one most lilely sd completely deleted the whole thread because she was so agravated with sd as far as i know
