hi! once more i seek the help of the pro’s here at splashdamage
well, for now my map has startet to shape very good, and the main base of the map is finished, and now i wanted to add some features to my map, i got the model Fockewulf190 (more than only 1 model part, it have 4 parts to link togheter),and i want 3 or 4 planes to fly over the map each 5min or something, like the “assault” map in RtCW. is this possible? i would be glad if someone could help me whit this

They arn’t on a timer though (from memory)
I’m trying to do a flyby as well, but only once at the end of the map using path corners.
My triggering mechanism is working correctly, but my plane does not move. Can you post the entity setup you are using for your plane model and script mover?
my setup was kinda easy, it was the Iffy’s prefab that used, i havent changed anything in the script its self, just adding another plane, i uses “script_mover” that i attached a model to… (m109 from RtCW)

i am a bigtime noob in this, and i got it workin pretty fast (about after 8hourse of testing XD)
dude im making the map you talk about and it’s halfway done already :S i even have custom planes u been hacking my pc?? 
i’ll tell you how i did it tho, spline + script mover and you dont need a timer,
the routines are all triggered when the plane hits a certain splinepath point.

hmm i dunno if you’ll be interested in my plane man; i knew someone was eventually going to try and do the same thing im doing so im tried something extra original and modelled the japanese mitsubishi zero
you can have it since i’ve been planning to release it for the peepz anyway, but its not ready yet, i want to add wheels and it needs more tags, i’ll be adding as i go
why dont you tell me what your map is about more in depth, if our ideas are close enough there’s no reason for not teaming up
i bet et players will rather see one amazing map than 2 pretty ones…

LOL. I actually had Loffy’s prefab already and forgot about it. The spline points are alot better than using path corners. Timing it to my sound fx is a lot trickier and so are the explosive effects. So far so good. It’s just a lot of trial and error to find sweet spot.
as for the plane, sure i can, i’ll post it here later.
to diego: to time the splines to your FX you need something like

I have my explosion and smoke effects attatched to tags on my plane and I am triggering them exactly like you have in your script. The attatchment eliminates the hassle of finding the right position in space to place the entity. What was the biggest problem was timing these effects to coincide with the audio effects. The best plane crash sound I could find had explosions built into it. So I’ve had to juggle things around to time my visual explosions to match in time with the audio ones that I can’t control.
But that level of difficulty is only on my Cargo plane. The Fighters will be a lot easier to obliterate since I can add those sound effects in wherever I need them.
So far, I must say, this scripted sequence looks cool as ****. I am sooo pushing the entity limits in my map. But at this rate, I’ll cut objectives out before I cut my finale 
One thing that did irritate me is I couldn’t get the misc_firetrails to work. I had it set up exactly like the ones in the RTCW_extra_entities map. But ET kept telling me I had no USE function and the description in Radient is not very clear on what that is. But no worries, my black smoke looks great.
i see. i dont have any sounds.
i plan to script so much interactivity that maybe i’ll cut out effects
