Place your bets people

Place your bets here if you think Brink will be on the summer sale.

If you don’t know what the summer sale is, it’s this huge sale that lasts from June 30th and ends on July 10th. And it’s only for pc. And these sales are huge. Basically every game is one sale and you can buy bundles full of games that usually cost like 800 bucks together just for 70 bucks. Or 20 dollar values for 2 bucks. And some games get EVEN bigger sales on certain days just for one day. It’s pretty big.

I think Brink will be on the summer sale. I mean right now it’s only 25% but I think in one of these days it could be 50% or maybe even 75%.

What do you think. P.S. when I say it will be on the summer sale, I mean it will be on the front page and have a ticket and everything.

I really hope so but I can’t see it happening

(nick1021) #3

Well I don’t know if this is for sure (it probably is). But they have set up the sales and plans and on what date before the summer sale. I can see it happening, since most games that have had a small sale usually get a bigger one.

(SnipingMeerkat) #4

Well in England, some shops are selling it for £20 so yeah it probably will be on the summer sale.

(Tandem) #5

That’s seriously f***ed up if they do.
$30 on Amazon is even too much of a price-drop imo.

Big middle finger.

Brink – £21.24 == $34 == €23

No it’s not. Imo (and MANY others) it’s not worth 30 bucks even. And if it wants to have SOME chance of living on PC it better drop down to 15 or 20 (like homefront).

But seriously. After having steam for a while, you get used to the outrageous sales.

Brink UK £12.99

It wouldnt suprize me (if the DLC is actually coming out) it is on sale when the DLC hits, ties in with when they said the dlc will be out, and would make sense, i mean i cant see many ppl paying the price it is now for a rapidly dying game.

Give the special kid in the corner who can’t finish anything another chance. yeah…
It’s still kind of an insult to bring it down that much a little over a month after release.

And DLC doesn’t make up for anything, but it’s funny, I get the sense they have it in mind
that it’s somehow does; I could be misreading that but if you think it’s only a good idea
because it’ll brink back numbers, that’s pretty weak. It’ll bring in a whole new round of disappointed 2weeks-max players.

We had a decent community, but for some reason most people
rather play games that are completed and released as advertised, go figure.

Your right it’s not worth $30, I wouldn’t pay a dime over $15.
I’m sure someone has said this already but now we all know why a demo wasn’t released.

If they can’t get game ready on time, patches on time or even DLC, ready on time .What real hope was there really for a demo to get released, before the actual game came out.

It’s the summer sale. It doesn’t really matter when released.

(Thundermuffin) #14

Actually big blockbuster titles like Brotherhood, Black Ops, etc., weren’t in the winter sale because they were still new and people would pay 50/60$ for them.

Brink is an exception, it REALLY needs it.
