If you rotate brushes with this option will they still be on the grid or not? Because if you do a rotation via the menu the brush is no longer on the grid. Would be interesting to know that.

PS: Doesn’t work for me nor in GtkRadiant 1.5 nor in NetRadiant.

It is always on grid. Just press 1. By rotating with R my squares are turned into strange forms if the angle is not 45/90/180/360 degrees… But ingame it is not really noticeable.

No, it is not always on the grid. If you don’t believe me why don’t you try it out yourself?
It might look like it would be on the grid 1 but no.

Well anyway doesn’t matter because I use NetRadiant and the option doesn’t exist there anymore.

I tried weird rotations on 1.4.0 and always while going down to 1 it was mathing a point o.o The only case I had no match is while making polygons, so I case if I rotate them they’ll be still not matching the grid…

Afaik rotating any object means it’s no longer aligned with the grid, to have aligned angled geometry you have to clip it from a squared brush using common grid points to keep it nice and tidy and aligned and not use ‘strange’ angles, I typically try use even ‘gradients’ when clipping (1:2, 1:4, 1:8 etc). I’ll make some pictures if people want later this evening to illustrate.

You mean clear shots, with no compass/HUD?

I use a CFG for this, bound to a key:

this bots are for pirates_b2, they try to go in wall, there, where in pirates_b2 is a tunel.

Are you using the current Assembla ones? Tardis says they’re made to be compatible will all versions of the map; Somebody tried to make waypoints for this one too.

Why do you want to game on pirates_b2 the final verson is mutch better !!. I do have waypoints for all of the Pirates maps but not all complete yet
I will try do some edits soon and update the waypoints for pirates_b2 :wink:
