Frankly I think a ton of augments are damn near useless - like the “take less damage from own explosives” or “30% faster weapon switching”(which is so marginal it’ll never do anything, should be 100% faster if anything). And 50% more noise is damn near useless as well.
But pineapple tosser takes the cake. This is the absolute worst augment ingame. Not only is it extremely difficult to hit the projectiles(it worked for me ONCE) but you also willingly have to place yourself into a bad spot to make use of it. For literally noone is going to switch to melee splitsecond and kick back that moletov he didn’t see coming. Also trying to use it on both fragger and thunder just kills yourself and it doesn’t work for nader’s grenades.
Please just change this augment altogether. Especially for the humble bundle loadout cards are already so fucking awful(other than aura and vassili)
Perhaps those are indeed useful if your aim is abominable enough to miss a full magazine in your primary(as I almost exclusively run around with my primary weapon), you run into your own explosions the entire game and wait what - I didn’t even point at the augment “sneaky”.

Not to be taken literally again sigh. I do use my knife when I want to be quick

Skilled or not, it makes no difference, either way, Drilled still gives that 30% faster switch should you decide to switch weapons mid combat or out of combat. Just because you don’t need to switch because apparently “you’re oh-so good at this” doesn’t mean it Drilled doesn’t apply to you, but then again this post doesn’t surprise me - you had me at “Stoker Molotov too weak”. What’s next gloomy, gonna do a post on how you think Obama is a reptile next?

If you think that switching weapons should only need to be done when your aim is “abominable enough to miss a full magazine in your primary” and that therefore Quickdraw is useless, you’re an idiot.
First, it’s very common for you to have to take on multiple enemies at once and, if you don’t have time to reload, switching to your sidearm is necessary. In these moments, the less time you spend switching, the better.
Second, Quickdraw isn’t JUST for sidearm switching. Sometimes you need to swap to your knife to stop someone from being revived, before immediately bringing your gun back out to take down the would-be reviver. Or if you’re playing Nader, Arty, or, especially, Kira, then you are often swapping between your primary weapon and your special weapon (MGL/Arty’s Strike Marker/Kira’s laser) in the middle of an engagement. Again, the less time you spend switching, the more effective DPS you have. In fact, pretty much EVERY merc could benefit from being able to take less time using their special ability. I play Vassili a lot and I know that while I’m throwing my motion sensor I often miss opportunities to take a shot - if I could reduce the time it took me to swap to my motion sensor and back, I wouldn’t miss those opportunities so often.
Finally, you do realise that Quickdraw allows you to switch to your primary much faster after holding out your knife? This is extremely useful as many times when you are trying to move as fast as possible with your knife out, you can get attacked by surprised (especially by Phantoms). In these moments, having your gun out and firing just a split second earlier can mean the difference between life and death.
OMFG I just checked your profile and you have over 80 Disagrees, and only about 10 Agrees. No wonder I keep seeing your name at the top of every stupid post lol…
Wait is there a forum badge for 100 disagrees?
Your so close Gloomy!
Anyway, I think why people disagree with you so much is because of the way you put your points across. Yes your points are sometimes a little… easily disagreeable with as they are so… unique, but your very forward, almost aggressive way of putting them across makes people want to disagree.
People can take things the wrong way, so staying as polite as possible helps.
