Pineapple Juggler bug

I tried this perk with a friend,my friend threw me a cooked nade and i threw it back to him,unfortunately the nade exploded while I was throwing it back and the nade killed me but it didn’t finish me,then a friendly medic helped me up with his defibrillator and I have a transparent frag grenade in my hand (as a proxy)

I still haven’t been able to use pineapple juggler and I’ve had the ability for a long time. All grenades explode so not sure how to even throw it back
