photoshop, paint etc

Hi, i have a new PC and ive decided that i don’t want any pirate software on it. But i need something to fiddle around with textures, command maps and other stuff. I know there are trial versions of the ps and Paint but i remeber there was a really basic program that was free. Can not remeber its name so anyone know what it is? thanks in advance

Yea, looks pretty nice according to the screenshots. I have never used it myself but Id say that it almost looks like Photoshop. And thats impressive for it being free.

Yeah…too bad I’ve already managed to aquire a copy of photoshop 7.

I wouldn’t call GIMP “a really basic program” it can do same things as photoshop, some even better.
