Phong Shading - Doh!

Hi,

Can someone explain how phong shaders work - and an example map and a shader would be even better :banana:

I want to do a series of small domed roofs on a building, and I think (?!?!) a phong shader may be the answer to not having to put a patch up there.

A patch mesh or better yet, an ASE model is your best bet. Domes or other curved surfaces constructed out of brushes are extremely inefficient in terms of surface and vertex counts, i.e. more expensive (slower) to render.

Have you tried autosprites?
