Phoenix's self-revive

As most of you know, a revived player gains invulnerability for a short amount of time. When Phoenix self-revives himself, he doesn’t get that. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

the invulnerability only applies when he got up not while hes getting up

this mechanic is good for pressuring enemies to shoot phoenix first.

Possibly due to client-to-server/server-to-client clock discrepancies. In your side, you have been fully revived but in another client, you could still be in the process of revival, therefore the shots/attack still count. This is why higher latency players are disadvantaged.
