A lot if times when I charge up the pulse it remains in charging state until it has become fully charged. Not only that but it prevents you from switching to any weapon which has caused a couple or two deaths which is quite frustrating.

Err, this sounds more like a stuck “Quick ability” key.

It happens even when I just tap the pulse.

That bug has been reported several times, except that you cant switch to a weapon. That is new.
