Phoenix pls

(Fiktio) #41

Abilities are only part of whole merc. Combination (weapons, outlook and abilities) is the reason why I’m waiting for Phoenix.

(SaulWolfden) #42

He isn’t too interesting to me either, I personally like Sawbonez the best of the current medics, he has everything I want, decent primaries, decent health, medpacks, and defibrillators. I’d personally much rather see Stoker added next. I doubt he will be next, but I can always hope.

(GregHouseMD) #43

Does it, though? If you’re in a big fight, with lots of casualties on either side, Phoenix getting back up and bringing his team back could be great. A bit of a ‘win more’ situation, but still.

(litheJacket) #44

he is gonna be my main

(triteCherry) #45

It depends if they change the revive ability to match the current revive changes. I see it as useful as Martyrdom, powerful until people catch on and after that it’s rarely useful. Unless he has good, reliable heals or good weapons I can’t see him being as good as other medics. I hope i’m wrong because I enjoy playing medic but most pub games I come across generally finish kills.

(Fleshpound) #46

Probably is that the Self-Revive can be considered some sort of gamechanger, if you don’t get gibbed. : P - Or just that he appeared in the Scrubs Trailer - getting smashed by a train.
He does have defibs though.[/quote]

Another pubstomper. Not comp one since everyone knocks out before medics come(or medic will revive self).

I just know how to use a merc before it is released yet(more like,"i need to have a plan for

every single thing on the world" character.

(ludicrousBlast) #47

If you die further away from enemy lines, or your teammates are distracting the enemy’s, self revive would be really useful.

Doesn’t Phoenix get Timik? I don’t know, maybe it changed, maybe I’m misremembering. Maybe it was Crotzni. Also, doesn’t he have the healing aura? So there’s no need to toss packs at people, or find a good spot to put down a station. Just shoot people, and heal as needed.

He has the Timik in the scrubs trailer, but in the gameplay I’ve seen, he has SMGs.

Wouldn’t that count as false advertisement if he doesn’t get the Timik and yet he does in the trailer?

(Yes) #52

No, they never once claimed that the video represents any gameplay or features.

(CCP115) #53

Phoenix looks insanely weak in his current/previous state.

But hey, Robotic legs, Hispanic accent, he’s just too damn cool.

I was thinking maybe give him a 1 minute cooldown AOE ability. For them sick clutches.

Or give him rifles, that would be sweet.

(srswizard) #54

I would love to have a medic with a Timik, seriously.
I think Phoenix is going to be a gr8 medic for those aggressive coordinated pushes, but at this point I’m just theorycrafting, because I haven’t been able to play him.

Jesus with an AK47, though, how badass would that be?

(ludicrousBlast) #55

Kira had an SMG-9 in the trailer, we don’t know for sure if Phoenix will have the timik

(HardCoreGamer44) #56

Yea I,m Wanting To Play Him Too I Can,t Wait Till He Gets Put In
