I know a lot of people bring up how his EMP field gives him away, and have requested moving his ability to an EMP grenade instead… but what if he had both?
His cloak will still have the EMP effect, but he would have a second ability which is a Cloaked EMP Grenade. It would also emit the cloaked whirring noise. What this does is confuse the enemy players as they no longer know if there is a phantom cloaked near by, or if the Phantom used a cloaked EMP nade to act as a decoy.
You could of course also use it to nade EMP things that are out of your reach as is what some people have expressed wanting.
The Cloaked EMP Grenade would have a similar cool down to Phantom’s cloak, but would not be able to be deactivated remotely. Phantom would still be able to pick it up before it expires (to restore some of the cool down time) and the enemy can still destroy it with either a lucky stray bullet, or with splash damage from explosives.
Just wondering what people would thing about something like this.
