So as I am sure we all know, Phantom is not that useful right now…
I thought I would try and come up with a couple of abilities that could help…
1, Dash… Kinda like the dash from Dishonoured… Would allow Phantom to teleport around 40ft. You could use the Kira style floor marker to do this… Around 7.5seconds recharge (to allow quick attacks and escapes) no real charge time on the ability other then getting the input from the player of where they want to go.
You could increase the recharge and actually allow instant kills on anyone he passes though…
Other options include allowing the character to STACK charges to a maximum of 3-5.
2, Cloak Shield… When in cloak phantom receives 60% less damage but each shot will eat 5-10% of his cloak charge.
3, Passive Electro Sheild… Allows Phantom to not be effected by Mines or Turrets.
4, Stars… Has 2-3 throwable stars that do a set % of damage or heavy hit… 50hp or so… Make them skill based with travel time.
5, Proximity Scanner… Enemey mercs within 30feet radius of phantom cause a beep for phantom (this would not be shared with the enemy OR other friendlies)
6, Spikes… Spikes that work in the same way as the Molotov but do a lot less damage (around 5hp per second) but slow the enemy by 50%.
7, Akimbo Silenced Pistols… Give him a little more firing power.
There you go… Just some simple suggestions that could help phantom a little bit.
