Phantom - Why he's OP

Son, if you think that means skill in an objective oriented team based game, I have some bad news for you.

And what is the good position my friend? Because as a Vassili player i would like to know. The chokepoint near the objective where i used to throw sensor so my team know where the enemy comes from and can fire back or behind my back because phantoms are constantly getting behind the line of defense? I pretty much stopped supporting the team when i see opponent play Phantom, and this is something i don’t enjoy because throwing sensors to help my team doing the objective was a thing i really liked to do. Now it’s pretty much impossible.

If you aren’t willing to possibly take a katana in the back for the team, then you shouldn’t be playing a team based game. I stand in front of Proxy’s repairing or planting all the time. Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork. I hear cloaked Phantoms a lot faster than they can close with me.

I’m ok with dying, it’s not it never happen to me lol. But one thing is dying, another is to completly ignore the objective and the enemy because i have to constantly check the sorroundings. Unless i use the sensor near me, in which case i’m warned soon enough if he comes.

I can’t summon up a tear for Vassili since his previous counter was himself.

Listen for him, the cloak makes a very distinctive electronic hum before he’s within distance to gut you. Till then you don’t really need to worry about it unless you’re in a really loud environment.
