Phantom - poor merc design.

If Phantom is supposed to be the sneaky guy … its poorly done.
If he is supposed to be the useless noskill gameruining guy … well done.

give him more need for skill via loadoutcards:

either a good smg with knife or
a small mainweapon with katana.
not both.

then lower his HP a bit

and voila: a nice sneaky merc, that needs some skill and is still fun to play.

like now he is just annoying and makes the game overall worse … much worse.

In Phantom’s current state I have no interest in playing the game. Phantom is completely broken and is ruining PUB gameplay. People may say that this character has no use in competitive, as a Level 14 I haven’t touched Competitive MM because of the amount of hackers infested in MM, and not worth my time. PUGS w/ DirtyCups sounds better than playing something built into the game, sad. Maybe this game is turning away from a skill based shooter to something that is noob friendly easy mode. Let the beyblade macros commence!

Sounds like I’ll be taking a break until Splash Damage realizes that by rushing a broken & buggy merc (now twice in a row, sparks & phantom) and not hotfixing during a BETA they’ll be losing their community/fanbase because they want to see how badly over powered he is? That makes total business sense. I guess it’s a good way to get people to buy the merc if he’s OP for at least 2 weeks. #CashGrab

I have no idea why Dirty Bomb suddenly wants to become Chivalry… when is the Black Knight mod? (aka decapitation physics)
