I love both of them. I feel that Phantom, as he is right now, is good in pubs and is one of the highest skillcap mercs in the game. And when I say that I don’t mean playing melee-centric or melee only. Use all his tools correctly and he’s so hard to kill and has so many outs and can pick and choose fights at will.
Fragger, on the other hand, is just a pure killing machine. Being able to throw a grenade in one direction and get kills as you’re gunning down people in another direction is great. He also attracts medics more than most mercs too which is kind of nice (even if it’s still rare).
However, realistically for most people, Fragger might help you grind slightly faster since there is a small win bonus for credits and you might help a team win more with him. So that’s the best advice I can give you as a person who enjoys both classes to another person who does.
Also, that sucks about your account. Can Valve not do anything to fix the situation?
