Phantom OP?!

Fooled ya
As i predicted pre-Phantom launch,
the amount of people complaining against Phantom is so entertaining.

Ps: Instead of complaining about how “OP” he is, why not discuss about ways to actually improve and learn about how to neutralize him?

I can bet those who are saying he’s “OP” are actually those who have been killed by him. Why not grind up and try him up for yourself instead of whining behind your consoles. It’s not helpful to the community if you just whine and complain, followed by “i quit dirty bomb” thread. Lacks maturity you know?

Plus, i’m sure these are the very same people, or not, who complains about Sparks Revivr Gun being “OP”
And look how that has died down.
Ps: Annoying does not means OP. Remember that

Devs, @MissMurder With every new Merc, people are probably bound to complain. Filter those negative nancies and keep doing what you do xx

Tip #1: Vassilli players, use your heartbeat sensor, it’s something you should always do.
Tip #2: In future update when the other snipers will be released ALL of them will have a way to make his stealth 100% pointless.
Tip #3: Back away when you see a Phantom rushing you, Yes. It works.
Tip #4: Just like every merc, headshots do extra damage, yes I know it’s obvious, but I see most people panic, when 2 shotgun shots should kill Phantom.
Tip #5: Use your eyes, he can be spotted quite easily if you pay attention to your surrounding.
Tip #6: Play the merc, you will learn his strength and weaknesses and will be able to add other tips to that list!

It’s not about me panicking with shotguns, my aim just sucks but yes I did wipe the floor with a Phantom as Fletcher when I wasn’t being Queen of Scrubs.

Nice pointers!
Usually i main Sparks, so from whatever high view i’m in his stealth is actually viewable.( Full charged Revivr to the head should do it)
And also not all players are very efficient on using him. His melee missed on times, which gives you the perfect opportunity to back away (Press S, yes people who complain, S means back away) Jump (that’s the spacebar) and start shooting him. He should be visible by the time he makes his move [/center]

I was pretty much just checking the titles and moving them out of general chat. :confused: However I do think, after reading, that is still belongs here. In encourages discussion about the merc and that is what this board is for.
