Phantom; Not complaining, just an idea for change.

Have posted this before in a thread, but I wanted to make it into its own thread so more people can discuss it at length.
Was talking with some mates about Phantom and we came up with this idea:

  1. Reduce the shield to 50 damage absorb
  2. Keep the Kek-10, but nerf it (People tend to think its OP at the moment)
  3. Keep Katana damage where it is (Maybe nerf it so it does just enough damage to one hit Proxy, Aura and Sparks)
  4. Nerf health by 20
  5. The shield is passively on, the cloak is not. Shield has a decent recharge time after Phantom is hit.
  6. When activating cloak, you lose the shield. Visibility % would stay the same as it is currently. When turning the cloak off you have to wait for the passive recharge timer on the shield to start up again before you are shielded.
  7. Let him “tag” scout enemies, similar to Vassili’s sensor, but on individual targets, allowing him to hover over them with his crosshairs for 1 second, at which point them become visible.

For me, this feels like a balanced merc. The upsides too him are the stealthy sword play, and the ability to switch into stealth from his shield if it goes down, in order to use it as a “juking” tool. He can stealth behind enemy lines and “tag” enemies for his team, picking off the weaker ones himself.

My only problems with this fix is that maybe just being a 150 effective hp merc with a Kek is too good? Maybe you can balance that around the shield recharge time, and make the recharge time coming out of stealth a little faster, so he doesnt feel useless.

TLDR; Choose between passive shield OR invis, nerf shield and HP a little, give him the ability to “tag” enemies.
