Phantom is the cancer that will kill this game

I hate this class, and it single handedly made me go from having as much fun as I’ve had in multiplayer in a long time, to ZERO fun playing this game overnight.

I don’t care whether he’s balanced or not right now. If he’s balanced, then I’m done with this game. It’s not fun. The four people I was playing with last night all reached the same conclusion. OVERNIGHT.

This single class is cancer, and needs to be substantially nerfed, reworked, or removed. It’s anti-fun and completely breaks the feel of the game as a FPS objective and squad based game. I mean, Jesus, how does a stealth tank SMG samurai even make sense in a team based, “pseudo realistic guns” shooter? It totally ruins the flow of the game, the feel of controlling space, of understanding where your enemies are, elements like suppressing fire, etc.

This game is free to play. You have a VERY low threshold for negative player experiences. Once people are gone, they’re probably gone for good.

Fix this shit now.

I don’t see how this confirms a nerf.

After the massive outcry and frustration over Phantom, it would be absurd for them not to rework or nerf him.

Let’s hope so.

I feel like the game needs more defensive/supportive Mercs… I’m not talking about calling down artillery strikes type stuff… I see that as offensive.

Things like healing/reviving/ammo… some buffing Mercs would be nice too.

Maybe add some healing/buffing weapons… like the sparks reviving weapon but have it heal or apply a buff (shield/max hp etc). An AR that heals allies or dmg’s enemies…IDK I bought spark and loved it until I started feeling it was too linear just begin a reviver gets boring when it’s the only Merc you can basically stand playing.

I know most people like to have a high K/D ratio and they just want to hurt/kill people. But I play supportive.

This was the wrong time to add Phantom imo.

Totally agree, I think that we have enough ‘‘offensive’’ mercs, few defensive/supportive mercs would be great.

To be honest Phantom could’ve been even worse and i can’t denny he could be rly op and ruin the game if he’s in the right hands if not he can make a rly bad player a decent player with his cloak and katana. But i think what u’ve done is complain a bit about him gettin nerfed (which every player has alrdy done) which i understand y but don’t u to give out some ideas for fixin phantom.

Like instead of a 6 sec cooldown on his cloak make it a 10 or above, also his shield shouldn’t be a dmg sponge and instead it should take about 2 shots to peal it of and it should reduce chest dmg to 40% or less.

Also we all se that Splash dmg wanted phantom to be an agressive class like nader but i’d like to see him have a purpose and give him perks which help out the team play or give him a gadget which disablec the players hood for a short period and allows him to be more stealthy and help the team push out.

Give ur ideas.
