First off I’d like to say I have been lurking these forums a lot, and just recently made an account to give a suggestion.
So with this huge debate on Phantom after his nerf, I thought that I would figure out how to make him a “viable” class again. My first suggestion is, a Tantos, which is a curved throwing knife used by Samurai. The Tantos would do 80 damage, and Phantom could only have one every life. If Phantom throws the Tantos, he could retrieve it if need be. The Tantos would travel fairly slow and only go about 40m total. It would take him about two seconds to pull the Tantos out, and throw it. The catch is, Phantom can throw his Tantos, AND stay invisible.
My second suggestion, which is if the Devs don’t care about keeping Phantom as a Samurai like figure, is ninja stars. Phantom throws three of the ninja stars at once, but they go in random directions, and curve in flight. They would have a medium/low velocity and travel about 30m. These would be a cooldown type ability, and have a 30 second cooldown. Each star at close range will do 50 damage each, and at their max range do 40 damage each. Phantom will also stay invisible if he throws these. The ninja stars take about 4 seconds to pull out, and throw.
My third and final idea for Phantom, would be to give him a heart beat sensor. He would stay invisible while throwing one of these.
If phantom’s invisibility isn’t changed for the better, I feel that one of these abilities,if added, would make him a more viable class.
